Q.  How often should I change the disposable bag?
A.  Change the disposable bag before it reaches the "full line" designated on the outside of the bag.
Q.  What should I do if the Kirby system is not cleaning effectively?
A.  Check if the green light on the nozzle is on.

Check the brush roll to make sure it is not clogged and can move freely.

Check to make sure the belt is engaged.

Note: Always remember to turn off the machine and unplug the cord from the outlet before checking the machine.
Q.  Is there a recommended maintenance schedule?
A.  The maintenance on your Kirby system depends on the frequency of use. However, we suggest checking the outside components, such as cord, brush roll, and belt before use and have the inside components examined regularly at an authorized Kirby distributorship.
