I use for spot cleaning rugs. Very good product.

I absolutely love the Kirby company. I have a Kirby Sentra and I absolutely love it. I like to use that lavender scented carpet shampoo to make my carpets and rug smell nice again.10 out 10 would recommend the Kirby company

It was impressive then… it’s impressive still… no matter what the improvements are that make it better… quality never goes out of style !

The smell is pleasant and not overpowering, which I really liked. I used this Kirby carpet cleaner on my carpet and it did a decent job overall. It didn’t provide a very deep or strong clean on heavy stains, but for regular maintenance and freshening up the carpet, it works fine. The quality seems good and it’s easy to use. Overall, it’s an okay product for light to moderate cleaning needs.

Worked like it should

Kirby dry foam shampoo is better than any other carpet shampoo out there. My local vacuum repairman recommends the Kirby carpet shampooer as the best one available because the dry foam actually loosens the dirt in the carpet instead of simply soaking the carpet with some useless cleaning solution. This is the best!

This works better than anything else I’ve tried for removing spots , including cat barf stains & grease & foot traffic spots. I highly recommend it & will buy it again. Buyers beware that there may be an additional postage due though. I had to go to the PO & pay $5.51 for postage due to receive my package.

If you have the fortune to own a Kirby with the shampoo accessory kit you will save your self a lot of money cleaning your own carpet.This carpet cleaner works to take up light to moderate soil. For spot and heavy traffic areas use their spray on spot remover, or better yet, get a bottle of Folex carpet cleaner which works very well and is reasonable priced.

Shampoo always means more work. But this shampoo does the job. Not sure I really care for the smell, but once it is dry, I don't notice the odor any longer, so I will keep using.

This is exactly what I needed to clean my carpet with my Kirby. I like the lavender smell. Foams up easily. A little goes a long way. And works great, leaves my carpets looking new.

I have used this Kirby Carpet Shampoo for 38 years ever since I got my beloved Kirby vacuum cleaner. It is still going strong and so is the shampooer attachment. This shampoo works great at keeping my carpets clean and stain-free. Highly recommend.

The best carpet shampoo I have ever used! It cleans so well and leaves a great fresh scent behind. It dries very quickly and then just vacumm for a clean fresh carpet. Do spray any stains prior to shampooing. I found it years ago when my daughter was young. I bought a Kirby back then. My Kirby is now gone but I still use the carpet shampoo and always will!

We have a 1960s Kirby vacuum that was my grandfather's. Although we have a more recent vacuum, I kept this one because of its run shampoo capability. We have a beige carpet in one of our rooms, and it was getting spotty, so my wife asked me to shampoo it. We'd used spot remover on specific spots before, but they helped temporarily if at all. Ordered the shampoo, and took out that old shampooer. After going over the carpet, all the spots were either significantly reduced or fully removed. Worked great! Might work with other brands, too, but definitely worked with the Kirby.

I have a Kirby vacuum that also is a shampooer. I like their rug shampoo. It works! Also good for spot cleaning. I prefer the regular not lavender scented.

It does a good job of getting rid of the odors associated with pets. But I noticed that it doesn't lift the stain from the carpet.

Used this product with my Kirby carpet cleaner attachment on my Sentria and it removed all the stains on my carpet. We had basement water damage and were able to salvage the carpet. As a result there were several stains left by items that were on the carpet such as rust spots from exercise equipment, etc. This product mad the entire carpet look, feel, and smell like new. I am very satisfied with how this cleaner worked. I foamed over the spot in multiple directions and the stains came out after only one cleaning. I would recommend this product.

Borrowed my mother in laws kirby vacuum. My hubby swear by kirby being the best there is. Personally, i am not a fan of all the different hook ups, but it is super handy! Anyways, im here to review on the shampoo so here i go... The shampoo after using it smells fresh like a new home. If you plan on doing some deep cleaning go for the biggest one, especially if your home is big. I didnt use the whole bottle and it fell over so it started to leak. I'm not sure everyone had that problem, but even with the lid tightened, it leaked. Overall, great product when done right!

I borrowed a Kirby dry foam cleaner to clean the deep urine odors out of my medium pile carpet, but I didn't know what I was getting into with this type of machine... Even after 3 passes (washing, drying, and vacuuming), although reduced overall, the urine odor is still present. Perhaps the odors are so deeply embedded in the carpet and pad that this cleaning style doesn't reach it. While I'm rating the carpet shampoo itself at 4 stars, the dry foam shampooing process is only 2 stars.
